Why Do A Rescue?

Every animal deserves a chance.  When people buy chinchillas, sometimes they don't do the research needed. They get the animal home, and then find out that it wasn't what they expected or wanted.

Why Breed?

You breed chinchillas to improve the breed. You don't want to breed "petstore chins" You have no background info on them- you don't know if they are related, if they have any medical history, or any other problems that they may have later. If you are going to breed, you need to do a lot of research first. Try to breed chinchillas from breeders, or chins that you have good background info on.
